I officially met Jenn Zori in September, 2019. We were introduced by our amazing friend, Kristine Carroll, owner at Vibe Vault Fit. Jenn and I had exchanged pleasantries for quite a while before our actual meeting. We both found ourselves falling victim to the challenges of balancing a family and owning a business. But, when we finally met face to face, it was as if we had known each other for years.

Those who know me, know that my typical “uniform” is wearing no make up, hair in a clip and workout clothes. The type of workout clothes that DO NOT even come close to what the term “athleisure” means these days. And then there she was……….put together…….matching clothes, makeup to die for, hair perfectly blown out with these subtle sparkles in it, blonde and beautiful. As I entered into our breakfast spot I knew it was her right away sitting at our table even though I never saw her before that moment.

And just like that our connection was instant. We talked family and fitness. We laughed about raising boys…..the fact that she has twin boys and how ironic it is that she may be one of the most “girlish” people on the planet. We talked about growing up, our career paths, our future goals and lastly how we can help each other and work together. The order of our conversation spoke volumes to me. In my experience in the corporate world, it seemed as though it was always about the “what can you do for me” factor. With Jenn, we just wanted to help each other, as woman and as business owners who just want to do good things and bring a little joy to people.

Jenn is very enthusiastic, caring, calming, smart, passionate, with a smile on her face ALWAYS and is eager to make everyone she comes in contact with “Sparkle.” I will be honest, makeup aside, and I said this to her “I don’t know if I can walk around at my age with glitter in my hair.” But, my daughter and I got her signature glitter extensions together. It was extra time I spent with her and it made one little girl very happy. I saw my friend doing what she loves to do, thriving in her element. For that I will wear glitter anything! Since then, Jenn and I had plans for a few make up tutorials to share with both of our clients. Circumstances have us where we are. So stay tuned! We have had the chance to work with some mutual clients before this situation. For that we are both grateful. Until we can see each other again, thank you my friend for your kind soul, your kindred spirit, your thoughtfulness, your support and your talent.

Jessica DeLuise has been a client of And So It Glows for the past few years. Then she was a full time Physician’s Assistant but, was “dabbling” in something much bigger. Here we are in 2019 and WOW!

At times I wish I could capture my spray tanning sessions to share with all of you some of the most impactful and amazing encounters that I experience. In my bio I mentioned one of the most rewarding things about And So It Glows is that I meet people as strangers and most times I leave with new friends and Jess was no exception. We are both talkers and talk we did……….Our very first session we talked about life, our similar backgrounds, our desire to do “bigger things”, our annoyances, our obstacles, our insecurities,

our exercise routines, food, wine…. you get the picture. She shared with me her idea. Her idea to educate, advocate and genuinely help people of all ages on how to use food as medicine. To date, Jessica is a Culinary Medicine Specialist and founder of Eat Your Way To Wellness. She has been featured on many TV networks and has something BIG launching in January. Jess is the REAL deal…….authentic, passionate, enthusiastic, loving, fun, encouraging, thoughtful, educated and the list continues. Follow her at @eatyourwaytowellness. Jess is also featured once per month on @produceforkids where she walks you through “make overs” of favorite recipes for the entire family. Lots of good information for kids and adults!
